Good morning folks, hoping you're all feeling a lot better than me today as I seem to have picked up a rather nasty bug from somewhere which has given me a raging sore throat, irritating tickle type cough and a really muzzy head so you can probably guess I'm feeling very sorry for myself lol
To take my mind off it, I've popped online to show you a card I managed to finish (crafting helps when I'm feeling under the weather) which is a vintage style card inspired by the beautiful image I came across when trawling through my computer files the other day.
Here's what I made and sorry for the pic - the light is bad today and the flash has washed out the colours a bit as well as some of the bling.
As you see, a blingy and sparkly creation in soft colours inspired by the gorgeous image which is one shared some time ago on Art Freebies blog which was run by June of Dezinaworld who recently had the very nasty experience of having her blog and things hacked and sadly had to close them all down.
I made a simple background paper by using some of the Tattered Angels snow crystal masks with Vintage Pink and Lavender Fields Glimmer Mists. I then added some crystal snowflake stickers that had been floating around in my Christmas box for a while.
I added the pretty image to a silver glitter card mat and applied this with foam tape after wrapping silver sparkly ribbon round the backing panel and tying a bow.
I finished off with my favourite Christmas sentiment for this year from the Tim Holtz mini holidays 4 stamp collection, stamped with black and coloured with Promarkers.
That's all for now and I'm keeping myself going with copious cups of tea!
Hugs, Fliss xx
