Clowning Around Papertake Weekly Challenge

This week's challenge at Papertake Weekly is Sketch 25.

I decided to go for something slightly quirky as I bought a gorgeous set of stamps called Party Cats by Lost Coast Designs from Scrapz and wanted to use them.

Unusually for me, I used some Basic Grey Fusion papers (as you know I usually make my own background papers but these are SO gorgeous) for the card.
I followed the sketch and used 2 of the Fusion papers. I stamped the cat with the jester's hat on white card in VersaFine black ink 3 times, coloured the cat on one and the hat on another and cut them out for a decoupage effect. I added jewels to the hat.
I matted the cat image to  mauve card and assembled the card with deep green grosgrain and American Crafts striped ribbon. I added text generated on the computer. Sorry about the pun, but couldn't resist lol.
