Hello all, I hope you're having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend which I have to say has been fairly typical weather wise as it's wet and cold! Good weather to be crafting though and I managed to get some done along with some baking.
Our challenge this week at Make My Monday has a theme chosen by Marina and we would like to see your creations with Trees or Leaves.
I've been experimenting with my Brusho crystals again and I'm not sure it turned out exactly as planned but it will have to do!
Here it is and hope you like it.
I stamped the tree first (Hobby Art) on thick smooth watercolour paper using Archival Jet Black ink.
I then sprinkled on Brusho crystals little by little, misting gently with water by Ranger mini mister as I went. This is the tricky bit as it's not always easy to stop misting on too much water. I keep paper towels by me to blot any excess water.
As you'll see, the results are a bit hap hazzard although I did manage to get a suggestion of sky and grass. The tree was the most difficult so you'll have to use your imagination the think of a gentle breeze shaking off the blossom.
I added the panel to a kraft card blank and finished off with a Tim Holtz small talk sticker.
Have a great day and a good week.
Fliss xx

Love your tree and the pretty Brushos background. Have a great day, Fliss! Hugs, Valerie
Love your Brusho background Fliss, but I don't think they ever turn out as we expect, I tried to repeat one I had done previously but it was impossible.

Love your Brusho background. I know they have a mind of their own but you made them behave here.

I too struggle with getting brush to do what I want, where I want but I think you'vyou've achieved a great colourful image. Love it.

This is beautiful Fliss, that's the issue with Brushos....they do what they want to do rather then what you want them to do!!
Weathers not too bad here now so a battle between gardening or crafting :)
Big hugs
