Here's what I did to make the card which was actually easier than it might look considering I made my own background paper:
- I stamped Holly's Christmas by Stamp-It on white card, coloured it with pencils and cut into an oval shape. I then sponged with green and yellow inks for a soft look and matted it on a peach card oval.
- The background strip is parchment paper by Southfield Stationers, stamped with the Art Impressions Holly from Sir Stampalot in black and then sponged with Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint and Worn Lipstick Distress inks.
- I then cut 2 strips of Bazill Bling card and stuck these on a large pale green card blank with the background paper in the centre. I added strips of sparkly stick on ribbon.
- To finish the card, I added the image with foam tape together with a computer generated sentiment and 2 Prima flowers with jewelled centres.
