It's Christmas! Oodles of Doodles

OK, a bit of lateral thinking here. Whilst I was experimenting with my stamps, I suddenly noticed that my pointy petalled flower had a slight resemblance to a poinsettia flower so decided to make a couple of Christmas cards to see if it would work.
The robin one (the robin is by Hobby Art of sourse) has a poinsettia made by stamping the design twice in Palette L'Amour Red and once in Landscape green on old fashioned parchment paper by Southfield Stationers. I then coloured them by sponging the same inks on very lightly and adding a little Palette Raw Sienna to one of the red ones. I then cut them out, using just the centre of the slightly orangy one and layered them up. The robin is stamped with Memories Art Print Brown and coloured with watercolour crayons. The greeting is stamped directly on the card with Kaleidacolor Flannel dye ink.

The stripy one has a piece of glossy card brayered with the Flannel ink on one side and the other side is stamped with the Christmas Greeting in Palette Landscape. The pointy flower is stamped on the same parchment paper in dark green pigment ink and embossed with Antique Gold embossing powder. It was then sponged as before and cut out in the same way. I added ribbon and a jewel to finish the card design.
