Purrfect Day for Maria

This card is for one of the girls I work with and she loves cats and butterflies. I couldn't resist using this gorgeous stamp by Funstamps which I bought last year to do my sister's birthday card as the cat resembles a black fluffy cat we had when we were young called Heidi.
I stamped the cat in VersaFine Smokey Gray ink and coloured just the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. I matted the image on lilac glittery card. I stamped the butterfly (Hobby Art's Orange Tip BU12D) in the same ink and coloured it with pencils. I cut it out and embossed the back with a ball tool for a 3D look.
I printed my greeting from the computer and matted it on the glittery card. I stuck all the components on a square marbled blue card blank.
