Hello again, I'm back with details of this weeks challenge over at Polka Doodles where we'd like to see a bit of Shabby Chic in your creations.
For my inspiration I decided to do some stamping (no surprise there!) and out came my much loved Wonderland Stamp Set. Here's what I made and hope you like it:
I covered my card blank with a variety of paper layers from the Wonderland CD which really is full of shabby chic fabulousness. I distressed all the edges with an emery board.
I stamped Alice with black ink and coloured her with Promarkers. I then made a frame by cutting a circular aperture in a square of paper and stuck this over the image before adding some faux stitching.
I then stamped a row of toadstools to look like a little grassy bank and coloured these with Zig Art and Graphic twin markers. I cut them out round the toadstools and added this to the corner of my card.
To finish off my creation, I added the stamped and die cut sentiment on a mat with faux stitcjing, some black pearls and a butterfly from the Candy Doodles CD.
Have a great day and a lovely weekend.
Hugs, Fliss xx
